    Euna Summit Stovall, age 89, passed away November 29th at Mercy Hospital. She was born August 24th 1924, to the Rev. James and Malinda Summit. On Christmas Eve, 1941, she married Grover Stovall of Sims. They were residents of the Sims community for 70 years. After the loss of their son Larry, they moved to Hot Springs to be near their daughter. Euna was a member of the Lone Valley Church of God at Sims most of her life. Mrs. Stovall is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Grover Stovall, a son Larry Don Stovall, Granddaughter Sarah Merriott and siblings Burmith Summit, Essie Summit, Thursie Scott, Marie Rains and Veron Summit.

    Grandchildren: Jared and Tyler Henderson of Hot Springs, AR, Brandon, Austin, Ethan and Connor Stovall of Pencil Bluff, AR and Brooklynne and Cord Stovall of Lincoln, AR.

    A viewing will be held Monday, December 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home in Mt. Ida. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday December 3rd, at 2 p.m. at the Lone Valley Church of God in Sims with Brother Horace Lawrence and Brother Bud Wilburn officiating. Pallbearers: Billy Summit, Jason Summit, Dexter Summit, Kent Gartin, Lenny Fryar, Patrick Saveall, and alternates Robert Holder and James Abernathy. Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Robert McCrary and Staff, Residents and Staff of Montgomery County Nursing Home, Staff of Arkansas Hospice inpatient center, Staff of the Garland County Senior Companions and Volunteers of the Garland County Area Agency on Aging. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida.
